In this course students dig in and discover exciting information about the world around them while also learning alphabetical order. An introduction to guide words helps them find words easily. By the end students will begin to see the dictionary as a tool and as a friend.
The second workbook in the series, Using the Dictionary 2 digs into the parts of an entry, covers some basic grammar and how to choose which definition is the correct one. Amelia Bedelia would have loved to do this workbook!
