Product Details

Have you ever wondered how space engineers figure out how much fuel to put in a rocket? Or why a tiny bullet can do so much damage when it hits something? What do physicists and engineers mean when they talk about things like force, energy, work and power? How are these things related? This course explains the fundamental connections between energy and velocity, how to calculate work and power, and other things having to do with mechanical actions. Students learn how to gather data by conducting experiments, and how to write a technical report on the results. They then get to design and carry out their own experiments illustrating the physical laws they learned on the course.
