Mammals
What does “warm-blooded” mean? How do mice and squirrels keep their teeth from growing too long? Which mammals are the fastest runners? What is a mammal anyway? In this illustrated book, students learn about many different mammals from foxes to otters to whales. They learn about how all mammals are alike, the life of a mammal and the difference between wild and domestic mammals. It includes interesting hands-on activities for applying what was learned, and learning more.
An accompanying learning guide takes the student step-by-step through the book and activities, as well as providing additional fun activities.
