Mastering the basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts of arithmetic is vital to being able to do arithmetic quickly and with certainty. One successful aid to attaining this ability is drilling the basic facts (e.g., 3 + 2 = 5) using flash cards.This course lays out the facts (to be written on cards) in graduated sets and groups. It provides drilling instructions for using the cards, and gives the expected abilities for different age levels.
