Product Description

This is a fun course for young students to help them get creative with clay.

The student learns to make simple pots such as pinch pots and "snake" pots, which are made up of rolled strips of clay piled on top of each other to form a cup shape.

The course also includes instructions for making pots in kilns, how to avoid having a pot blow up when fired in the kiln, and how to glaze the pot.

Materials You Need to Supply: Text: A book on pottery making that has pictures of pinch pots. Materials: Pottery clay, kiln (or access to one), several different color glazes, pots made from clay snakes, and other types of clay pots that a beginning potter could make.
