Product Description

This is a very basic course that teaches the student how to use maps and understand where he is located on the planet.

He learns about map symbols, compass directions, continents and oceans, drawing maps, and how to find places on maps and globes.

Through map study, he learns something about the geography of North America, the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and several states.

Inflatable, inexpensive beach ball with world map on it (beach ball globe---should be able to deflate quickly to show the conversion of a globe to a kind of flat map.
